FAQ

Your grooming questions, answered

  • Why does grooming pricing say "subject to groomer's discretion"?

The prices listed are minimums. Your dog's coat condition, behavior, or the complexity of the cut can affect the final price. Your groomer will always communicate before applying any additional charges.

  • Who is your groomer?

Our groomer is highly experienced. She offers breed-specific cuts, owner preference cuts, bath and brush, and fun extras like hair color, nail polish, and bows or bowties.

  • What makes Diggity Dog grooming different from a chain pet store?

Your dog sees the same groomer every visit — not whoever is available that day. Our groomer offers a personalized experience and has expertise handling dogs that are anxious, reactive, or difficult to groom.

  • What is included in a Full Groom?

A Full Groom includes a bath with specifically selected shampoo, a breed cut or owner's preferred style, anal gland expression, eye and ear cleaning, a nail trim, and a brush out. Pricing starts at $60 for small dogs (up to 20 lbs) and $130 for XXL dogs (81+ lbs).

  • What's the difference between a Full Groom and a Bath & Brush?

Both include a bath with selected shampoo, anal gland expression, eye and ear cleaning, a nail trim, and a brush out or de-shed. A Full Groom adds a breed cut or owner's preferred haircut. A Bath & Brush does not include a haircut.

  • How often should my dog come in for grooming?

We encourage regular maintenance to make each groom easier on your dog over time. Depending on your dog's coat, a bath and brush may be recommended and brush between full grooms to keep the coat from getting too matted — which means less stress at appointment time and a happier dog overall.

  • Do you groom all breeds and coat types?

Our groomer handles all breeds and coat types. Exceptions are aggressive and severely matted dogs.

  • Can you groom a severely matted dog?

If brushing out the mats would be painful for your dog, we don't do it. De-matting is billed at $25 per hour, and additional charges may apply at the groomer's discretion for safely managing a matted coat.
